Ana Garcia Martins "in shock" over businesswoman's death at 46

According to the local newspaper Região de Leiria, Ana Lúcia Bento is the fatal victim of an accident that occurred on the morning of this Saturday, August 2. The businesswoman was riding a bicycle in Carvide, Leiria, which collided with a vehicle.

In addition to her work at Inocos, Ana Lúcia Bento was seeking a career in politics and was a member of the Liberal Initiative (IL) in the Union of Parishes of Marrares and Barbosa for the local elections. In light of this, the party made a point of posting a message of condolence on its social media channels.

According to the Lusa news agency, Ana Lúcia Bento was declared dead at the scene of the accident, on Avenida Tenente-Coronel Joaquim Duarte Alves.
